Cloning Courses in TLMS

Cloning Courses in TLMS

The Cloning feature in TLMS allows you to take a standard course from the global library and create a copy of it in your private collection. This is useful for organizing your most-used content or preparing courses for specific campaign edits.

Navigating and Filtering the Content Library

To begin, go to the left sidebar menu, click on Content Library, and select Courses.

The main Library contains a vast repository of content. To find the specific training you need, you can use the Filter options at the top of the interface to sort courses by:

  • Topics: (e.g., Phishing, Social Engineering, Ransomware)

  • Compliance: (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO)

  • Language: To find training suitable for your global workforce.

  • Difficulty: (e.g., Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

The Cloning Process

Cloning is handled directly from the library list. Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Course: Find the course you wish to copy within the Library bar.

  2. Hover for Options: Move your cursor over the course entry. You will see two options appear: View or Clone.

  3. Initiate Clone: Click on Clone. A confirmation pop-up will appear to verify your choice.

  1. Wait for Processing: After clicking "Clone," the button text will change to "Cloning in Progress." Do not refresh the page during this brief setup period.

Managing "My Courses"

Once the cloning process is complete, the course is automatically moved:

  • Accessing Clones: Navigate to the My Courses section. Your cloned course will now appear here.

  • Purpose: Courses in "My Courses" are now ready to be utilized in your campaigns. This section acts as your "shortlist" of approved training materials for your organization.
