How license work on TSAT

License

A license is a legal agreement or authorization that outlines the terms and conditions under which a user or organization can access and use a specific dashboard. The license typically includes key information such as the expiration date of the license and the number of users allowed to access or use the dashboard.

Expiration Date

The expiration date specifies the duration for which the license is valid. Once the expiration date is reached, the license may need to be renewed or extended to continue using the dashboard. Licensing terms can vary, and some dashboards may have short-term licenses (monthly or yearly) or longer-term licenses (multi-year).

Number of Users

The license defines the maximum number of unique users who are allowed to access or use the dashboard. The total number of users appears on the dashboard under TSAT package as shown below. It also shows when the license will expire for the dashboard.

If users are removed and new users are added, the cumulative count of users is reflected solely in this section. This is because the Users and Departments section does not retain a history of deleted users. Therefore, to observe the total number of users, this section is the primary source. A 5% user deviation is factored into the allocation for each dashboard to account for scenarios where existing employees may depart, and new employees join the company.
