How to Configure Custom SMTP in TLMS?

To send Awareness Training Emails from your SMTP, please follow the below steps : 

Step 1 : Go to Settings and click on "SMTP Profile".

Step 2 : Click on "Custom" and input the below details.

NOTE : PORT 25 would not work because TCP port 25 is frequently blocked by Internet Service Providers (ISPs), as an anti-spam technique since it's used in MX spamming and abuse of open proxy/relay machines.

Step 3 : Once the form is filled, click on "Update" and send a test email to confirm success by clicking on "Send Test Email".

Step 4 : Once confirmed, your SMTP is configured. If you face any error such as : "Invalid Credentials" which shows that the given details are not correct. Kindly update the inputs.

NOTE : If MFA(Multi Factor Authentication) is enabled for your SMTP, the App Password is required for the configuration. 

Click on "STARTTLS" if required.

Step 5 (Optional) : Click on Advanced Settings, to configure the Messages/Emails Limit per second.
