How to Upload Users In TLMS ?

Please follow the below steps to upload the users in TLMS Group :

Step 1. Click on Users & Groups > Group in the left Menu bar as shown in the below image : 



There are several methods to upload users in TLMS : 

1. Manual Setup : Upload users through a CSV file.
2. Auto Create (CSV) : The CSV file will be created automatically based on the Groups you have provided in the csv file.
3. Sync Users : Through this feature, you can fetch the same user groups/users which you have created in TSAT Portal (if exists).
4. Through Azure Integration : You can fetch the users from AD directly by using this feature. To Know More Click Here

Let us know about Manual Setup first.

1. Manual Setup : 

Step 2. Click on "Create New Group" button in the top right corner. And select "Manual Setup" option from the dropdown.



Step3. After clicking on Manual Setup, you will be redirected to a screen where you are required to enter the Group Title, which could be anything for ex- Test.



Now, click on "New User" if you want to upload one or two users only. 



Upon clicking New User, a modal box will be opened in which you are required to input the user details such as First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone, Designation, Manager email, etc.

NOTE : First Name and Email Address are to mandatory fields to create a user group.



After entering all the details, click on SAVE & ADD ANOTHER button to add more user's details as shown below. If you want to upload only one user then click on SAVE button.


Once the user is added and clicked on Save. This modal will be closed and a user entry will be showing up in the table.
Now click on SAVE GROUP to save the users in this group successfully.



This is how you can create a group with one or multiple users manually.

2. Auto Create (CSV) :

In this case, input Group Title to create a group in the first step. 

Step 1. After clicking on AUTO CREATE (CSV), you will be redirected to a screen where you are required to enter the Group Title, which could be anything for ex- Test.

Step 2. Select BULK UPLOAD to upload a csv file. Upon clicking Bulk Upload a modal box will open for uploading the csv.



Step 3. In the csv, First Name, Email Address are two mandatory fields to be added in the CSV file. Download the sample csv file and copy paste your data in the same file and then upload it.


Once the csv file is uploaded, click on SAVE GROUP button in the bottom right corner and save the user group.

This is how a group is created with AUTO CREATE (CSV) feature.
