How to Whitelist ThreatCop in Barracuda?

To whitelist ThreatCop’s IPs inBarracuda, you will have to follow the steps given below:

For Barracuda’s Email Security Service (Cloud-based Version)


Step 1: Log in to your Barracuda Cloud Control.


Step 2: Go to Email Security > Inbound Settings > IP Address Policies


Step 3: Go to the IP Blocking / Exemption section and enter the following ThreatCop’s mail server IP in the IP/Network Address field


  • 35.154.207.235        

  • 168.245.74.19


Step 4: In the Netmask field, type 255.255.255.255


Step 5: You can write a note in the Comment field. For example, it can be ThreatCop Simulated Phishing IP Address.


Step 6: Click Add to whitelist the IP address.


Step 7: Go through steps 2-6 for each IP address

For Barracuda’s Email Security Gateway (On-premises Version)

Step 1: Log in to the web interface of your Barracuda Email Security Gateway


Step 2: Select BLOCK/ACCEPT > IP Filters page


Step 3: Go to the Allowed IP/Range section and enter a ThreatCop’s mail server IP in the IP/Network Address field


Step 4: In the Netmask field, type 255.255.255.255


Step 5: You can write a note in the Comment field. For example, it can be ThreatCop Simulated Phishing IP Address.


Step 6: Click Add to whitelist the IP address.


Step 7: Go through steps 2-6 for each IP address


For Barracuda’s Intent Analysis Feature (Cloud-based Version)


Step 1: Log in to your Barracuda Cloud Control


Step 2: Go to Email Security > Inbound Settings > Anti-Phishing


Step 3: Under the Intent Analysis section, add ThreatCop’s hostnames


Step 4: Make sure that the Policy drop-down has been set to Ignore



For Barracuda’s Intent Analysis Feature (On-premises Version)


Step 1: Log in to the web interface of your Barracuda Email Security Gateway


Step 2: Go to Email Security Gateway > Basic > Spam Checking


Step 3: Under the Intent Analysis section, add ThreatCop’s hostnames to the URL Exemptions text box field


For Barracuda’s SPF Checks ( Cloud-based Version)


Step 1: Log in to your Barracuda Cloud Control


Step 2: Go to Email Security > Sender Authentication


Step 3: Go to the Use Sender Policy Framework Centre, enter ThreatCop’s IP addresses in the SPF exemptions table.


For Barracuda’s SPF Checks ( On-premises Version)


Step 1: Log in to the web interface of your Barracuda Email Security Gateway


Step 2: Go to Email Security > Block/Accept tab > Select Sender Authentication


Step 3: Select Yes under the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) Configuration section. Then, add ThreatCop’s IP addresses to the exemption list.
