IAM User in TLMS

IAM refers to Identity and Access Management. This feature enables administrators to manage user identities and control their access to resources within the tool's ecosystem. With IAM, administrators can create, modify, and delete user accounts, assign roles and permissions, and enforce security policies. IAM ensures that only authorized users can access specific features or data, helping to safeguard sensitive information and maintain the integrity of the tool's operations. Overall, IAM functionality plays a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the tool's resources while effectively managing user access.
  1. To create IAM users in TLMS, access the IAM option from the menu.
  2. The data is presented in tabular format, as illustrated below.

  1. Users : Shows the list of the users which are currently IAM users.
  2. Roles : The roles which can be assigned to a user can be seen from here.

  1. Policies : These are the policies that can be assigned to a user.
  2. Add User : To create a new IAM user you can click on this option.
  3. Search : If you want to search for an IAM user you can use this option.
  4. Show : It is a filter to set how many users should the table show.
Creating a new IAM User 
  1. Click on Add User.
  2. You will be redirected to a tab as shown below.

  1. Add the details of the user.
  2. Once done click on add user to save the changes.
