Section Overview: IAM User

When users navigate to https://tpir.threatcop.com/, they will find the "IAM User" section in the sidebar of the TPIR dashboard.

IAM users are secure accounts designed for accessing resources and permissions. Administrators can grant specific permissions and create different user types with varying access levels, allowing for precise control and enhanced security management on the TPIR Dashboard. The IAM User section displays concise information on the page, including the name of the IAM user and their email ID.

To add employees and grant them IAM access to the TPIR dashboard, users can click on the "Add Employee" button located at the top right corner.

After clicking the "Add Employee" button, administrators can enter the first name, last name, and email address of the user for whom they are creating the IAM user account. Once all the required information is entered, the administrator can save the details by clicking on the "Update" button.

Once the user account is created, administrators can assign the relevant policies to the user by clicking on the "Add" option under the policy header.

In the policies section, there are various policies available, including domains, advanced search, IAM, users, settings, and emails. These options, as illustrated in the picture below, allow administrators to assign specific permissions and access levels to each user, ensuring they have the necessary controls to perform their roles effectively. After assigning the relevant policies, click the "Update" button located in the top right corner to save the changes.

To reset the password for an IAM user, click on the "Send" option under the "Reset Password Link" header.

To delete an IAM user, you need to find the user within the IAM section of the TPIR dashboard.  After locating the user, look for a trash can icon or a button labeled "Delete." This delete option is usually located in the Actions column or a menu specifically associated with that particular user. Click on this delete icon or button to initiate the removal process of the IAM user.
