What are the red flags in emails that employees should take care of?
1- Spelling mistakes, grammatically incorrect and irrelevant content.
2- Slight changes in company names such as Fliplart instead of Flipkart or Ack0 Insurance instead of Acko insurance
3- Spoofed email addresses and URLs that are very similar to actual corporate addresses with minute changes.
4- Emails that have urgency without any significance.
5- According to the FBI, phrases such as “code to admin expenses,” “urgent wire transfer,” “urgent invoice payment” and “new account information” are frequently used in such emails.
