What is the flow of an outbound email?

First of all, the email is checked by the DMARC Policy if present. In case the DMARC policy is set to p=none; nothing will be done to the email received, but if the policy is set to p=quarantine and p=reject, then the email is sent to the spam and is rejected from the mail server itself respectively if the mail failed to pass DMARC authentication.
