How to Edit and Reorder Course Curriculum Using Drag-and-Drop
Draggable Curriculum
The Draggable Curriculum feature allows administrators to edit, reorder, and manage course content by dragging lectures, quizzes, and games within the course structure. This makes curriculum management flexible and intuitive.
Steps to Manage Draggable Curriculum
1. Go to Courses and My Courses from the TLMS dashboard.
2. Open Course Curriculum:
- Click the 3 dots next to the course you want to edit.
- Select Edit Course.
- This will open the Course Detail → Curriculum section.
4. Edit and Reorder Curriculum Items:
- Drag and drop lectures, quizzes, or games to reorder them.
- Edit or Delete items (e.g., Lecture 1, Quiz, Lecture 2).
- Update course details such as title and duration.
- Click Preview on any lecture or quiz to view content.
- Confirm details such as duration (e.g., 1:43 hrs for a quiz, 4:42 hrs for a lecture).
6. Update Course Settings:
- Use the Update Course option to save any modifications.
- Manage integrations, logging, or monitoring if enabled.
7. Review Final Curriculum Layout in the course library to ensure all sections, lectures, and quizzes are organised correctly.
Note
You can drag and reorder lectures, quizzes, and games freely to customize the curriculum flow. Always use the Preview option before saving to ensure content and structure are correct. Any unsaved changes will be lost if you exit the Curriculum screen.
