How to add Fake CC in Attacker profile
Fake CC refers to a simulated Carbon Copy (CC) email address added to phishing simulation emails. It is not real and is used solely to make the phishing simulation appear more legitimate or realistic — mimicking the kind of tactics used by real attackers.
What Does Fake CC Do?
When used in phishing simulations:
- The recipient sees another email address in the CC field.
- This adds psychological pressure — for example, they may think a manager or colleague is also receiving the message.
- It increases the believability of the phishing email.
Here is a step by step guide on how you can keep fake cc:
Step 1: Access the admin dashboard by logging into https://admin.threatcop.com/
Step 2: Once you login into the admin dashboard click on Navigate to TSAT button
Step 3: Once you are in the TSAT application, click on the Templates option
Step 5: Click on Go To Next button
Step 6: Click on the Attacker Profile option in case you don`t want to make any changes to the email template & landing page
Step 7: Enter the email id which you want to keep in cc & click on Add Email, you can add multiple email ids in CC. Once you have added all the email ids, Click on Go To Next button.
Step 8: Click on Finish button to save the template
