Creating an Infographic in TLMS

Creating an Infographic in TLMS

Custom infographics help transform "dry" security policies into engaging visual stories. By creating your own, you can use specific examples that resonate with your employees' daily workflows.

Step 1: Initialization

  1. Navigate to Content Library > Creatives in the sidebar.

  2. Click the + Create Creative button.

  3. Select Infographic from the list of creative types.

Step 2: Configure Infographic Details

Enter the metadata that will define how this asset is organized in your library:

  • Title & Subject: Provide a clear name (e.g., "The Anatomy of a Phishing Email").

    • Check the "Same as Title" box to automatically populate the Subject field with your Title text.

  • Categorization: Select the relevant Compliance standard, Topic (e.g., Social Engineering), and Style.

  • Targeting: Set the Language and the Difficulty level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced).

  • Thumbnail Selection: * Generic: Uses a system infographic icon.

    • Custom: Upload a JPEG/JPG/PNG file. This preview image makes it easier for other Admins to recognize the content in the My Creatives gallery.

Step 3: Layout and Content Upload

Since infographics often contain a lot of detail, the layout configuration is vital for readability:

  • Orientation: Portrait is the standard for infographics as it allows users to scroll through the data naturally on both desktop and mobile.

  • Header & Footer: * Header Section: Toggle to "Enable" if you want to include a branded title bar at the top.

    • Footer Text: Add a concluding tip or a link to your internal security reporting portal.

  • Body Image: Upload your primary infographic graphic.

    • Design Tip: Ensure the font size is large enough to remain legible when viewed within an email client.

  • Testing: Use the Test Mail button to send a sample to your inbox. Verify that the flow of the information is logical and the graphics are crisp.

Step 4: Finalize and Save

Click Save to add the infographic to your My Creatives collection.

How to Deploy: You can now navigate to Campaigns > Create Campaign > Creative and select your custom infographic. It's a perfect way to follow up a video course with a "Quick Facts" summary.

Admin Tip: Infographics are highly effective when used to show "Before and After" scenarios or to list "Red Flags" to look out for in suspicious communications.
