The TSAT platform distinguishes between live simulations and testing environments to ensure data integrity. Understanding the difference between Regular Campaigns, Test Campaigns, and Test Results is essential for accurate reporting.
Clicking on "Create Campaign" allows administrators to define the nature of the simulation.
Simulation type: Choose between a pure Simulation Attack (a dummy attack) or Simulation Attack + Training (an attack followed by security awareness training).
Attack Vectors: A wide variety of vectors are available, including Phishing, Ransomware, Smishing, Vishing, WhatsApp, Telegram, Attachment, Cyber Scam, Removable Media, QRCode, and AI Vishing.
Credential Harvesting: An optional feature that redirects users to a landing page designed to lure them into providing their credentials.
To ensure a campaign functions correctly, the template used must match the intended Simulation Type:
For Simulation Attack: Templates must be created with the "Type of Simulation" set to Simulation Attack.
For Simulation + Training: Templates must be created with the "Type of Simulation" set to Simulation Attack + Training.
There are three distinct areas where campaign data is stored and highlighted in the interface:
Regular Campaigns: Where live, real-time simulation results for learners are tracked.
Test Campaigns: Where full-flow testing results (Simulation + Training) are stored.
Test Results: A specific section for viewing results generated from a Test Template.
When launching a campaign, the platform provides specific options to verify the setup before going live.
Note: Do not test a template using the "Run Campaign" option. This action creates EVS reports that cannot be changed or deleted, permanently impacting your organization's analytics.
Send Test Email: Use this to test the visual layout and delivery of a template. The results for this action will appear in the Test Result section.
Run Test Campaign: This allows you to test the entire campaign workflow, whether it is a Simulation Attack or Simulation Attack + Training. These results appear under Test Campaigns.
Run Campaign: This is the final step to launch the simulation over the selected user group. Once clicked, the results will be officially recorded under Regular Campaigns.
